We have introduced numerous measures to make LAVITA Camp as sustainable as possible:

• - 100% of our electricity comes from renewable sources, and did throughout the renovation and reconstruction of the campsite. From next year we hope to have our own photovoltaic system to produce our own energy for use in the Camp.
• - In order to limit the use of water, our showers are timed to last no more than four minutes – plenty of time to shower in comfort!
• - Instead of selling plastic water bottles, we have drinking fountains in the Camp where you can refill your reusable bottle with free filtered water.
• - We do not use or sell disposable plastic items in the Camp.
• - We use only eco-sustainable detergents and soaps.
• - We provide eco-sustainable toilet paper.
• - About 70% of our buffet menu is made up of vegetarian dishes.

The camp is 26 km away from Cagliari Airport, and the journey takes about 30-35 minutes by car. Google Maps directions

Yes, we have two types of rental e-bikes: asphalt and gravel. You can choose to follow one of the three routes we propose, or explore the area freely, at your leisure.

The price includes accommodation in a tent equipped with everything you need, including fresh bed linen and towels, which we change every 6 days, as well as electricity, and a parking space in the car park. Motor vehicles are not allowed inside the campsite itself.

In addition, you have access to the Camp's facilities and services, which include a bar; a shop; relaxation areas; and an 'Express' area where you'll find microwaves, coffee machines, herbal tea and more.

Dinner, organised activities, e-bike rental and towel replacement are not included in the price.

• - A store selling LAVITA Camp merchandise, personal care products, local gift items, snacks, etc. Wherever possible, the products we sell are eco-friendly and local, and use minimal plastic.
• - A bar opened part-time, serving snacks, alcoholic and soft drinks.
• - A buffet area where dinner is available from 19:00 to 21:30.
• - Water fountains where you can fill your water bottle free of charge.
• - An 'Express' area with microwaves, kettles, a coffee machine, free herbal tea, fresh ice cream/frozen yoghurt machines, as well as communal tables.
• - Spacious, shaded relaxation areas for resting, reading, or getting together to enjoy activities.
• - Outdoor and indoor hot and cold showers.
• - A laundry with washing machines at a cost. Washing can be dried in the sun: there's always plenty of that in Sardinia!
• - E-bikes with helmets to rent and a map of routes in the local area.
• - A range of interesting activities to enjoy on and off the campsite.

Yes, as long as they are over 6 years old!

Unfortunately, staying in a campsite in a part of the world that can get very hot is not ideally suited to children below 6 years old. That is the considered opinion of two founders who have children of that age! We're sorry if you feel differently, but we hope you understand our position.

LAVITA Camp is currently a pet-free environment. We understand that your pets are like family, and we're actively exploring ways to make LAVITA Camp pet-friendly in the future, but for now we've had to make this decision for logistical and hygiene reasons. Apologies for any inconvenience, and thank you for your understanding.

The two-person tents are equipped with a double bed (or in some cases two single beds that can be combined if required) along with bed linen, pillows, duvet and towels. Each tent has electric sockets, lighting, a mini-refrigerator and a fan, as well as air conditioning and/or heating (depending on the campsite and season). Other features include clothes hangers, a mirror, a rug and boxes under the bed for storage. The tent can be closed with a padlock, and has a covered outdoor seating area with two chairs and a small table.

The four-person tents are furnished in the same way, and come with two additional single beds.

There is air conditioning in every tent. Please note, however, that as the Camp is in the shade of a pine forest and enjoys a sea breeze, it is generally cool enough, and never too warm in the evening. Air conditioning is provided for moments of extreme heat. As an environmentally-conscious guest, you are trusted to use it sparingly and turn it off every time you leave the tent.

We strive to ensure the utmost cleanliness at all times in our shared bathroom and toilet facilities.

Unfortunately, private bathrooms are not currently available, but we are working on introducing them for next season.

Guests have access to both large open-air showers and closed showers, all providing hot water.

Showers last around 4 minutes.

The shower time is limited for ethical and environmental reasons. Four minutes is plenty of time for a good shower, and water is a scarce commodity.

At the Camp, we offer a fresh and tasty buffet for dinner, from 19:00 to 21:30. The menu includes substantial options for those with gluten intolerance and vegetarians.

Alternatively, there are a couple of restaurants near the Camp, easily accessible by car. Approximately 1 km away, you'll find the restaurant-pizzeria Green House, followed by Mammai at 1.6 km and Victory by Lord Nelson at 1.7 km from the Camp. In the direction of Villasimius, there are the restaurant-pizzeria Aquarium-Farra, located 11 km from the Camp, or the Il Monastero restaurant, situated 8.4 km from the Camp.

Inside the Camp, you can find a selection of drinks, ice cream, fresh fruit, and some local products at the Bottega. Located 900 meters from the Camp, along the provincial road towards Cagliari, you'll find Novin grocery mini-market. If you need a supermarket, the nearest one is Coop, situated 1.5 km from the Camp, also in the direction of Cagliari.

Cooking is not allowed within the Camp, but microwave ovens are available in the Express area.

No, we do not accept cash payments at our Camp. We have provided safer and more convenient options by accepting payments through credit cards and mobile electronic payment services such as Google Pay and Apple Pay. This ensures efficient and secure transaction management.

For ecological reasons we don't sell bottled water. Instead, there are water fountains that you can use to fill your water bottle free of charge. If you like, you can purchase one of our branded water bottles at the shop.

The nearest beach is just 2 minutes' walk from the entrance to the campsite. Cross the road and you are there!

Beautiful Villasimius, "the pearl of the south" is just 28km away by a scenic coast road: a 35-minute drive is all it takes to reach an earthly paradise!
